Important Requests:
I'm searching for people who are willing to help me with:
Porting OpenCBM (cbm4linux) to OS/2 to be able to connect a CBM-Floppy
drive directly to Vice.
Important Remarks:
Vice/2 ver. 1.12 is the first version which implements fullscreen support.
The fullscreen support seems to have problems if your desktop is displayed
in a slightly similar mode (eg 1024x768 BGR3 instead of 1024x768 RGB3). Changing
the display mode may help. Please be carefull using this feature it may crash
your system. Any information about working or not working systems may help.
Please send me a short report about your success and the corresponding vice2.log
file.
If you are going to use version 1.9 and have trouble with it it is very
important to send a bug report to me, because
for the Real PAL emulation I had to change the screen access from
palette mode to true color modes. In this case please be patient until I fixed
the problem and use version 1.8 instead (see archive)
Thanks a lot for your help!
If you have a version of Vice/2 (rel. 1.7) and the fonts doesn't
work in the Open Dialog please download
vice2-1.7-fonts.zip and extract
it into the Vice/2 directory. Please make sure, that the Extended
Attributes (EAs) are extracted correctly.
If you are searching for V1.10, please forgive me... I had not time to do it.
